A difficult manoeuvre

Control a spaceship, rescue the crew, shoot enemies and recover a pod in this fun game. App Store link (1,59 €)

The controls: You control the ship with your left thumb. Touch the screen and slowly move your thumb in the direction you want to move the ship. A blue circle appears and indication the direction and strength of the movement. Be careful – as this is space the ship is thrusting and you have to act foresighted. Learning how to control the ship is one big fun aspect of the game. It reminds me of controlling that remote controlled mini helicopters. Shooting works the same way with your right thumb.

The mission: enter the facility, find the green pod which is located at the end of the corridor and carry it outside. Don’t crash on the corridors walls! On the way you will encounter pink and red enemies. You better shoot them, before they shoot you. There are also yellow crew members. Their names are taken from your iPhones address book which I think is particular fun. Pick them up to improve your weapons. The levels increase in difficulty: the corridors get longer and narrower, the enemies get nastier and increase in number.

This is a fun little game with nice 3D graphics and interesting controls. Go get it!
