I have to confess: I’m a little bit addicted to this app. Doodle Jump is a pretty simple platform jumping game. The only objective is to get higher and higher and of course to be on the top of the highscore. App store link

You play as a green little alien which jumps automatically, you only have to tilt your iphone left or right to move your little character. First you will find many green platforms that don’t move or crumble, but when you jump higher it starts to get trickier: there are platforms that crumble, move or disappear.

Sometimes you find springs, which let you jump really high but watch out ! you’re not alone. Different kinds of monsters appear in the game and you lose if they touch you. If you tap the screen, your alien will shoot upstairs. That’s sometimes very helpful, especially when you can’t avoid a monster.

There is a really nice feature. When you jump through the game, you will notice red markers on the right side, which is a sort of in-game high-score that shows you how high other players came. This makes it even more challenging.

And of course, I have to mention the design. It is clean and nice, with a handmade touch. I heard about an update, which will bring you more features. So prepare yourself and start jumping.
