Don’t think I’m doing it wrong. but when I try to share on Facebook the app is not bringing up a keyboard for me to enter in my information. Thought I’d let you know. Nice pixel art by the way.
@ Rob: Thanks for your message.. You mean after tapping the name-entry field of the Facebook-Layer no keyboard shows up? Strange. Seems to be a bug in the Facebook Connect API. Nothing we could really do something about. Do others have the same problem?
This app is not working after I upgraded to os4!

Hey. I just wanted to say that I absolutely love this app! Unfortunately, after I finished all the levels and downloaded a background my app won’t open anymore. It goes to the black screen that says FixPix and then takes me back to my ipod touch homescreen. T_T I really want to do all the levels again and don’t want to have to delete it since I did pay for it. Please, some help would be greatly appreciated.
@ Diana: Hello. Thanks you like the app – sorry for the problem. Unfortunately deleting and reinstalling the app is the solution for this problem. Did you synch your device with iTunes? Then the app should be backupped. You can easily reinstall the app via iTunes. And I think even without a backup, repurchasing the app should be free of cost, but I am not sure about that… Hope this helps!
Hi Delicious Toys, I’m having the same problem like Diana, i’ve tried to sycn, backup dan restore my ipod touch (8Gb, 1st gen & OS 3.1.3) but this apps won’t load again. Any help from support team?
@ Kilmon, you don’t need to restore your iPod touch – it won’t help. what you need to do is what i tried to explain to Diana:
- make sure the app is synched to your computer via itunes - delete the app on the phone (hold the icon until it jiggles) - activate fixpix again in the “Apps” tab in itunes’ synch options - synch again to reinstall the app
this deletes the fixpix prefs file which causes the problem. i hope this works!
Simple premise, but quite enjoyable. Went through all 100 pics in one play. Eboy was an excellent subject. I knew I had to buy it as soon as I saw that wonderfully crazy pixel art.
Hello. I’ve purchased this app and in the level 30 aprox. it do not works. The app closes itself. I have an iPhone 3G with iOS 4.0.1
The game is fun and worked perfectly on my new iPhone4 (bought two days ago) until I applied the recent update. Now it just crashes after the intro screen, 100% of the time.
@ tom: Oh sorry! It appears as if some people with iPhone 4 are experiencing problemes with the update that should actually fix problems. We couldn’t reproduce the new bug yet, but we will work on that! thanks for trying the reinstalling procedure.. good to know, that it works!
Update: Don’t know why I didn’t try it earlier (cut me some slack, I’m new to ht iPhone), but I deleted FixPix from my iPhone, then re-synched it from iTunes. It seems to work fine, now.

Hi! I have a problem with FixPix. I really love this app it’s one of my favorite games but with the new update everytime I close the app when it’s multitasking (i mean, double click the home button and close the app that way) it won’t save any of my progress .. if I open the app again it will start from level 1/100. Can you help me with this?
@cesar: thanks for your detailed desciption of the problem. we could reproduce this bug and start working on it. hopefully, we will be able to release an update soon…
Upgraded to the latest version and now all it does is crash. Won’t load at all. I enjoyed this app a lot, although I would agree with some of the other reviewers regarding the depiction of women, which is rather rude.
@terri: yes, we’re aware of this problem with iOS4, although we can’t reproduce it on our test devices and the apple crash logs didn’t log this so far. we have an idea how to fix it and hopefully it will work for you and everybody again soon. i the meantime the only workaround would be to reinstall the app: - make sure the app is synched to your computer via itunes - delete the app on the phone (hold the icon until it jiggles) - activate fixpix again in the “Apps” tab in itunes’ synch options - synch again to reinstall the app
about the depiction of women: well, it’s part of eBoy’s art. i think it’s meant rather ironic. most elements in eboy’s images have an ironic quality. monsters, buildings, people and vehicles.

Thanks for the response ploink. Nice to see someone that actually cares if the customers are happy with the product they’ve purchased. Unfortunately, I’ve already tried the ‘fix’ of deleting/reinstalling. Now, instead of it crashing at the title screen, it actually attempts to load the first puzzle, and then crashes. I’ll try to be patient while you work to resolve this.
I just downloaded this today for my iPhone 3G but it always crashes after the loading screen which follows the title screen. I hope you can put out a fix soon, I feel a little bit gutted at the moment.
hello hummy, we’re sorry for your crashing-problem. we were doing two updates with bugfixes, but we can’t reproduce these crashes and that’s why it isn’t easy to fix those bugs. we test on all device types but we can’t test all configurations. did you try to restart you iPhone? maybe that helps. the next step would be trying the procedure i decribed below:
easier would be: - delete the app - repurchase it (which will be for free)

I kept reading you can save the solved puzzle as wallpaper, how do you do that?

You can Push the lock button (the one at the top) and the home button at the same time to do a screenshot! it will appear in your photo library – from there you can assign it as a wallpaper…
